In fact how much your office contributes to your workflow is directly proportionate to how much you're able to do. If your office doesn't work for you you can't work from your office. If you're making the move to another office space or even changing around the office you already work in you need to know how to  [rearrange your network topologies](https://www.alura.com/solution/managed-solutions-overview) correctly to get the most of the changes.   This article talks about some of the most popular office layouts that you can choose from to help you work at maximum ability to get things done. Keep reading to find out more!   ## 1. Star Network Topologies: A Great Option Star networks are one of the most popular topologies that are used and for good reason. With star networks the hub is placed in the center of the room and the work computers (nodes) are placed around it in a star-like position. This setup is extremely easy to create so you'll be up and running in minutes. This design is also  [easy to troubleshoot](https://www.ghacks.net/2011/05/30/network-troubleshooting-basics-some-simple-steps/) and since the nodes run independently from one another the other computers don't have a problem if one happens to shut down.   ## 2. Point-To-Point Topologies: Simple And To The Point Point-to-point topologies are the easiest and quickest to set up out of all of the different types. With this option all you're doing is directly connecting the nodes to each other so they all carry the network together. This works perfectly in small offices and it's faster and more reliable than other connections due to its direct linking between computers. As a bonus you're also able to set your own network permissions on your computer to create a customized experience.   ## 3. Bus Topologies: A Good Way To Be Affordable For the growing business bus topologies are perhaps the best way to go. With bus topologies a single cable runs through the center and connects all of the computers in the room acting as a sort of "spine" for the entire network. This setup is very affordable as the cable is an inexpensive way to link the computers and the  [simplicity makes it stronger](https://www.nfx.com/post/network-effects-manual/). It's also easy to install and can be easily broken down or transferred to other office locations.   ## For All Of Your Business Solutions Now that you know some of the most popular network topologies to choose from you can make sure your office is laid out in the best way possible.
